Best Time Ever?
Saturday, April 30th, 2011This is shaping up to be the best time of the year. Even though the weather is wreaking havoc on most of the country, the cool evenings and mornings along with the pleasant days we’ve been having here in Houston are a pleasant change from the madness that usually permeates the climate in April. My heart goes out to all those having to deal with the catastrophic weather in Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas and Illinois… hell, just about everywhere, but here. Now, if we could only get a little rain, things would be great. Of course, around here, we don’t get a little rain. It’s either none or a deluge. Yeah, this is turning out to be one hell of a year. I guess now is a good time to change the subject….
The Floating Reminder
Saturday, April 16th, 2011As if the misery and destruction in Japan isn’t terrible enough, something they will be dealing with for years to come, scientists are now monitoring a large floating wave of tsunami debris in the Pacific Ocean that is being carried by the currents and will eventually impact the coast of North America. It is expected to reach the islands of Hawaii within a year and slam into America from Baja to Alaska in two years. This island of debris contains all the flotsam that was pulled into the sea as the tsunami waters receded and could carry anything that floats, including toxic materials and even bodies of the dead. Grim, indeed. I suppose even some of the radioactive sea water from Japan’s nuclear power plant will reach us as well. Brings to mind the old saying, “What happens to one of us, happens to us all”.
Now Back To The Guys
Saturday, April 16th, 2011That was the extent of the PSA message, today. So, it’s back to the cocks.
I Love The Warm
Tuesday, April 12th, 2011The weather has been so good, lately. It’s hard to stay indoors and do computer stuff.
